Breaking the Cycle: A New Beginning for Families Healing from Trauma

At the heart of our mission lies a powerful belief: families deserve to stay together, and healing is possible. That’s why we’re building something different—a trauma-informed treatment facility specifically designed for parents with a history of trauma whose children are at risk of out-of-home placement. Our vision is to create a safe, nurturing space where healing can happen without the fear of separation.

This isn’t just a treatment center. It’s a temporary home. A place where parents and their children can live together while participating in evidence-based therapies that are proven to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma. Through interventions like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), families are guided through a process of healing that addresses both past pain and current challenges.

We recognize that trauma doesn’t happen in isolation—it affects how parents connect, cope, and care for their children. Our facility is built to provide more than just therapy sessions. Here, parents receive support around the clock from trained staff who understand trauma, attachment, and resilience. Our programming includes parenting education, emotional regulation skills, therapeutic play, and community-building activities, all within a home-like environment.

Our goal is simple but profound: to keep families together while they heal. We believe that by supporting parents in a safe, structured, and empathetic setting, we can change not only their futures but the futures of their children.

Stay connected with us as we continue to grow, build, and welcome families into a space where hope lives and healing begins.

Best regards,

Dr. Harrington.
